This is a management position responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the clinic and ensuring it runs smoothly.
Qualifications/Skills:
Post-secondary education in health administration or related field, preferred
3+ years of experience in clinical management (ambulatory/clinical setting, preferred)
Experience related to patient registration, billing, coding and claims reconciliation
Knowledge of payment programs (Medicare, Medicaid, and other third-party insurance), preferred
Must be able to communicate, written and verbally, clearly and concisely, in a tactful and pleasant manner
Ability to create and analyze reports while streamlining registration and billing processes, develop resourceful solutions to problems and make recommendations for corrective action

Job Duties:
Â
Manage clinic workflows including scheduling, front desk, and clinic operations.
Ensure compliance with HRSA, UDS, PCMH, HIPAA, and other regulatory standards.
Maintain readiness for audits and inspections.
Conduct performance evaluations, staff meetings, and training sessions.
Coordinate staffing schedules and manage time-off requests.
Collaborate with QI/QA teams to implement and monitor quality metrics (e.g., HEDIS, UDS).
Participate in incident reporting, root cause analysis, and corrective action plans.
Lead chart audits and ensure accurate documentation and billing.
Ensure culturally competent, courteous, and timely care.
Address patient complaints and service recovery.
Monitor no-show rates and scheduling practices.
Monitor budgets, supply costs, and productivity benchmarks.
Support billing workflows and encounter documentation.
Generate reports from EHR and practice management systems.
Serve as liaison between clinic staff and central administrative departments (HR, IT, Billing).
Communicate policies and initiatives effectively.
