RKM Primary Care is a Federally Qualified Health Center with 11 clinics in 5 parishes

Direct Patient care: 

This position delivers primary care in an ambulatory heath setting, as part of a primary care team.

·         Verify patient information, obtain vitals & document in EMR

·         Interact with patient to obtain medical history & document in EMR

·         Ensure all reports/labs are available

·         Maintain specimens as ordered by the Provider

·         Perform EKGs as ordered by the Provider

·         Maintain exam rooms and equipment

·         Record keeping

·         Perform control checks for lab equipment

·         Admin duties as directed – process phone messages/scanning

·         Assist with team coverage through the organization as needed/requested

Qualifications/Skills:

Current Medical Assistant Certification (Required)

Current Basic Life Support (Required)

Prefer experience in ambulatory care setting, preferred

Starting Salary Range: $13.20 – $18.27 per hour; up to 3% annual increases
